Send Dad Jokes ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by River Trading LLC, a company registered in Sharjah Media City, UAE. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Send Dad Jokes mobile application and website (senddadjokes.com).

By using our app, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information during onboarding and use of the app:

Your name — used to personalise the experience.
Your father's first name — used in joke messages and OTP confirmation.
Your relationship label (Son / Daughter / Other) — used in message personalisation.
Your father's WhatsApp number — used to deliver daily jokes via WhatsApp Business API.
Your father's age range and preferences (humor style, interests) — used to personalise joke selection.
Your device timezone — used to determine the 8:00 AM delivery time in your father's timezone.
Your Expo push notification token — used to notify you of your father's reactions.
Subscription status — managed via RevenueCat.

2. How We Use Your Information

To deliver a personalised daily dad joke to your father via WhatsApp every morning.
To send you push notifications when your father reacts to a joke.
To personalise joke content based on your father's age, humor style, and interests.
To manage your subscription and payment status.
To improve joke quality using anonymised reaction data.
To send you subscription renewal reminders.

3. WhatsApp Messaging

We use the WhatsApp Business API (via Twilio) to send messages to your father's WhatsApp number. Your father explicitly consents to receive messages by replying with a one-time verification code during the setup process. He may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message.

We do not use your father's WhatsApp number for any purpose other than delivering daily jokes and capturing his reactions.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security on our database and encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent for WhatsApp messaging (your father can reply "STOP" at any time).

8. Children's Privacy

Send Dad Jokes is designed for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via push notification or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
